Chris was born in Louisiana but by age 4 his parents moved back to Maryville, Tennessee where they were both born and raised and have lived here ever since. He received his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tennessee and his Master’s of Accountancy from East Tennessee State University. He began interning at Whitlock and Company his junior year at UT in 2013 and has been here ever since. In 2016 he completed and received his license to be a Certified Public Accountant. In his time here he has worked almost exclusively on individual and business tax returns. In addition to tax, he does Reviews, mostly for the construction industry. The two things he enjoys most about his job is helping train new hires, and just giving back to them the same way that Mike and Brenda did for him. As far as clients go, anytime he is able to make their lives easier, most people hate taxes and bookkeeping. If he can make any of that part of their life easier, that is when his job truly becomes rewarding.
